Really grand-looking motorcar, George. I can't conceive of all the work you and your Dad did to bring it to this point! Are the moldings and surrounds dark green, or black?
@Peerless28 Dark brown; Dad put in lots of meticulous work and time in it, can't imagine how much money it was but worth it. Supposedly this was purchased new in 1930 by the last territorial governor of the state of Arizona (Richard Sloan) but have no proof of that.
Nice 1930. For a couple of years, I thought there weren't any 1930 Peerless sixes -- but it turns out there were tons of them. After getting over 8,000 orders in one day at the January, 1929 NY Auto Show, Peerless had to balance building the Six-61 and the other 3 models and ended up with 4000 1929s....and 4000 1930 holdover models.
