The Peerless Society is the 5th version of a Peerless website, the others by Steve Hennings, the Peerless Motor Car Club, or Joanne Pistorius between 2000 and 2016. There is no automaker in the 5,000 listings of "The Standard Catalogue of American Cars 1805-1942" more interesting than Peerless. As a western gunslinger played by Walter Brennan on TV used to say: "No brag, just fact."Some come close ( the Standard Catalog even includes a brand my family built), but did Auburn ever produce a good beer? Marmons are interesting, but did they ever get orders for 8,236 in one day? Peerless generally was profitable, and had sales of $300,000,000 over 33 years, but did lose $1.2 M in 1928 paying down debt and preparing new models. Duryea, Ford, LaSalle, Locomobile, Packard, Stutz: all have their merits, but none went from laundry equipment to luxury cars to lager. The Peerless Company started in 1865. Somewhere in Ohio, I think Carling Black Label lager is still being produced.

Thanks Jeff! We'll get some invites out this week and start letting other Peerless fans know there is a spot to gather and share Peerless information, pictures and technical know how. Should be a lot of fun.

@alsancle Send something to Jay Lankford. He owns a 1908 Peerless....he sent a gmail yesterday saying he may acquire another Peerless soon. Maybe you know him. He lives in the Middle Atlantic states, I think........
